Often times others will tell me what an unselfish act it is to allow your body to go through the changes and hardships of pregnancy for another life to grow. Early this morning I awoke with a lot of pain throughout my body from swelling and an uncomfortable night. It was at that moment I thought of the unselfish woman and girls who go through this only to give that child that is the reason for their discomfort to another family. I thought of the sacrifice that girl has given to this child for the last 9 months without the loving support of a husband and without the joy of raising that being to adulthood. This morning I am overwhelmed with gratitude to those who choose to give life rather than take the easier and selfish way out by abortion.
Thank you Birth Moms for the loving and unselfish gift you give to your child and the adopting family.

ReplyDeleteI very much agree with you! I am very grateful especially because I have two of my wonderful sisters because of unselfish birthmothers. I can't imagine having to give my baby away!
