My Life In Slow Motion...

...Has resulted in child like behavior.  You know those kids who walk (instead of ride) up and down on the escalator and then do it again I am now literally one of them.  I just keep hoping when others see the size of my belly they realize I have a greater purpose in mind.  I feel like a kid at Christmas except other people keep trying to tell me that since this is my first Christmas it will most likely come late.  Why don't they just set the date for Christmas later then?  Anyway in my anticipation for "Christmas Day" to arrive (wouldn't it be cool if it actually happened on Labor Day!) I am fortunate to have 2:00 to look forward to.  I feel like a child waiting for the school bus on the first day of school.  Why?  You ask.  Because my sweet friends knew that I was going to need something to take my mind off of holidays and due dates so they are throwing me my very own baby shower.  I am so excited!!! I have my outfit picked out that I wont put on until 1:00 so not to spill food on it, I have done my hair and makeup and I am ready to play guest of honor.  One might not think a baby shower would bring this much excitement into ones life but it sure has brought a lot into mine.  It is really nice to have something fun to look forward too, something that has a definite time and date.  Although I do like surprises I would like to know when Christmas was or that the bus does have a schedule and I will be picked up for school, in the mean time I look forward to the plans that have a time and a place on the invitation.  Thanks Lissa and Kim, this REALLY means a lot to me.
