Smashing Cd's

Today started off well, I got up, read scriptures with my husband, worked out, started cleaning and even organized some things. First while I was talking to my friend Danya I discovered that I could have gotten out of a dumb speeding ticket because the car is registered in John's name and the photo radar photo was not of him it was of me, he didn't have to write in who it was. Anyway we each have a ticket and the grand total is $500. Later when I was going through old Cd's I put a burned one in my VCR and now the VCR doesn't work. I called my husband to get some reassurance that everything will be OK. Well talking to him with the lack of enthusiasm only made me feel worse so I decided to take matters into my own hands, I took the Cd's that I hand thrown away out of the garbage can and started throwing them on the ground with a lot of force (they will shatter if you throw them the right way and they leave your floor sparkly) the mess is now cleaned up and I feel so much better. I guess the day is going to end well also.

P.S. I got three responses (thanks Alison, Karen, and Nicole) to my last post and I am excited to make those who blogged a special little something, I already have a plan and I hope you like it.

  1. Here's another future tip on avoiding the ticket from the traffic cameras. Flip the driver seat visor down - if they can't see a face, they can't give you a ticket. Also, my sister was driving my mom's car and she got a ticket that way, so my mom just sent the ticket back and said "that's not me" and they left it at that. Hey, you can also put CDs in the microwave. I hear that's cool. I'm sorry about your player thing not working... you said it was a VCR, but I think you probably meant DVD player. That has happened to me before. I also ruined my sweet ghetto blaster/boom box that I got in the 8th grade by trying to play a burned CD in it. Good times. At least you got your frustrations out.
