So there was a little confusion on the youth dance comment on Carree's birthday shout out. Our stake was having a youth dance, since John is the young men's president and I am in young woman's we were asked to be chaperone's for the dance. I was very much unimpressed with the dancing part. I remember loving the stake dances and at New Years having balloon drops, oh well there was no dancing and few balloons. John and I made it to midnight (the dance went until 1 am). We are not as young as we once were (John wasn't feeling well and I would go to bed at 8 every night if John would let me).
I like the youth in our ward. We have some very strong personalities in young woman's but the girls are always impressing me, they are smart and I think that one day they will make good young woman leaders.
Oh, I'm glad that you weren't at the youth dance scouting out some fresh meat. J/K! Rob was fast asleep by 10pm on New Year's Eve. It was my first NYE that I could get kissed at midnight, and he fell asleep. I woke him up and told him to kiss me, but it was one of the worst kisses he's ever given me. I guess next year I'll make sure he stays up.
